Yanmar 6LY400 Marine Diesel Engine, 400 HP
The Yanmar 6LY400 is an in-line six-cylinder, vertical, water-cooled four-stroke marine diesel rated 294 kW (400 mhp) at 3300 RPM. It displaces 5.813 L and complies with EU RCD 2, IMO/GL and EMC requirements and US EPA Tier 3.
The current 6LY keeps the compact in-line six-cylinder Yanmar block that has been the core of the series for three decades and adds a set of engineering updates over earlier versions. Bore and stroke are 106 mm by 110 mm.
