Yanmar 2YM15 Two-Cylinder Marine Diesel Engine, 14 HP
The Yanmar 2YM15 is a two-cylinder, vertical, water-cooled four-stroke marine diesel rated 10.3 kW (14 hp) maximum at 3600 RPM. It is naturally aspirated with indirect injection and has 12 V electric starting.
The 2YM15 is a larger-displacement twin from Yanmar's YM Series, described as starting easily, producing strong torque at low engine speed and running quietly with little smoke. Its size and power-to-weight make it suitable for twin installations. The crankshaft turns counter-clockwise viewed from the stern, and the engine sits on flexible rubber mounts.
