The Yamaha F40LA is a 40 HP, three-cylinder, 747 cc EFI four-stroke outboard with a 20-inch shaft and remote mechanical steering. This is a scratch-and-dent unit (Scratch & Dent Level 1, unit 5805), sold with cosmetic marks.
The engine uses a single throttle valve, a long-track intake manifold and an electronic control module. It weighs 214 lbs, starts electrically, has power trim and tilt and runs a full-throttle range of 5,000 to 6,000 RPM. A steering link arm, fuel line and manual are included.
