Yamaha F40JEA 40 HP Jet Four-Stroke Outboard, 20" Shaft
The Yamaha F40JEA is a 40 HP jet outboard: a three-cylinder, 747 cc EFI four-stroke driving a jet lower unit instead of a propeller, for shallow water. It is set up for remote mechanical steering with electric start and nitro-assisted tilt.
The engine uses a single throttle valve, a long-track intake manifold and an electronic control module. The 40 HP platform is offered in both propeller and jet-pump versions; this is the jet model. It weighs 219 lbs, has a 20-inch shaft rating and runs a full-throttle range of 5,000 to 6,000 RPM. A steering link arm, fuel line and manual are included.

Good to know
Confirm shaft length, controls and propeller rotation against your boat before ordering, and stay within the maximum horsepower on the boat's capacity plate.
Installation, rigging and commissioning by a qualified marine technician are recommended; follow the manufacturer's pre-delivery and break-in procedures.
