The Yamaha F20SMHB is a 20 HP, two-cylinder four-stroke portable outboard with EFI, a 15-inch shaft, tiller steering and manual starting. Its 432 cc SOHC in-line engine weighs 126 lbs.

The 432 cc engine uses an in-line SOHC layout with a streamlined intake manifold, and Yamaha lists a full-throttle range of 5,000 to 6,000 RPM. It is sized for light craft such as aluminum fishing boats, tenders and inflatables. Standard equipment includes an aluminum propeller, a fuel line, a safety lanyard and the owner's manual.
