A Yamaha 425 HP XTO Offshore four-stroke outboard with a 35-inch (XXX-long) shaft, Digital Electronic Controls and integrated electric steering. The eight-cylinder, 5,559 cc powerhead uses direct injection and the motor weighs 999 lbs.
Power trim and tilt, electric start, a safety lanyard and a dual flush system are standard alongside the integrated electric steering system. The design uses iridium spark plugs and quad thermostats. The propeller is not included.
