The Yamaha LXF425USB is a 425 HP XTO Offshore four-stroke outboard with a 30-inch (XX-long) shaft and counter (left-hand) rotation. It uses Digital Electronic Controls, integrated electric steering and direct injection on an eight-cylinder, 5,559 cc powerhead.

Electric start, power trim and tilt, a counter-rotation lower unit, a dual flush system and a safety lanyard are standard. Yamaha specifies iridium spark plugs and quad thermostats on this motor. It weighs 977 lbs, and the propeller is not included.
