Yamaha F150 150 HP Jet Drive Four-Stroke Outboard Motor, 25" Shaft
The Yamaha F150 Jet is a 150 HP four-stroke outboard fitted with a jet drive lower unit in place of a gearcase and propeller. Its 2.7-liter four-cylinder is rated 105 HP at the pump and has a 25-inch extra-long shaft.
With no gearcase or propeller below the hull, a jet outboard can run shallows, shoals and rocky-bottom rivers where a propeller would be at risk. The DOHC powerhead has 16 valves, four per cylinder, with long-tube intake tracks and electronic fuel injection, and a freshwater flush device allows the engine to be flushed while it is not running.
Steering and throttle are remote mechanical, starting is electric and power trim and tilt is fitted, with 70 degrees of tilt and trim from -4 to 16 degrees. The alternator supplies 35 amps, the full-throttle range is 5,000 to 6,000 RPM and the motor weighs 493 lbs. The jet lower unit and owner's manual are included.
