Volvo Penta D3-150I Marine Diesel Engine, 2.4L 5-Cylinder

$25,000.00Price
Quantity

The Volvo Penta D3-150I is a 2.4-liter in-line five-cylinder marine diesel with an aluminum cylinder block and cylinder head. It uses common-rail injection with piezo injectors, double overhead camshafts and a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT).

The D3 is a refined development of an established engine concept, built to be strong and robust. It is very compact and fully symmetrical, which simplifies installation, and the aluminum block and head keep weight low relative to its power. High torque at low RPM supports quick acceleration onto plane and strong maneuvering power, and torque holds up under high load and high RPM.

Electronic control is standard through Volvo Penta EVC Electronic Vessel Control, which ties together the engine, electronics and optional features such as single-lever mode and Glass Cockpit; the remote e-Key is included as standard. Freshwater cooling is also standard, reducing internal corrosion and keeping the operating temperature even. A heavy-duty engine cover, easy-access service points and full-function EVC instrumentation complete the engine.
