Volvo Penta D3-110 Marine Diesel Engine, 110 HP

The Volvo Penta D3-110 is a 2.4-liter 5-cylinder marine diesel with crankshaft power of 81 kW (110 hp) at 3,000 RPM, at Rating 5. It has electronically controlled common-rail injection and a variable geometry turbo with charge air cooler.

An aluminum cylinder block and cylinder head keep weight low for the output, and the compact, fully symmetrical layout simplifies installation. High torque at low RPM helps the boat onto the plane and gives strong maneuvering power, while the control unit monitors several parameters to manage fuel use.

Electronic Vessel Control is standard and integrates the engine with optional features such as Single-lever Mode, Cruise Control and Glass Cockpit; e-Key is standard. Freshwater cooling with a heat exchanger, a heavy-duty engine cover and easily accessible service points round out the package.
