Volvo Penta D11-625 Marine Diesel Engine, 625 HP
The Volvo Penta D11-625 is a 10.8-liter in-line 6-cylinder marine diesel delivering 459 kW (625 hp) at 2,400 RPM. It pairs a twin-entry turbo and charge air cooler with electronic unit injectors and heat exchanger cooling, at Rating 4.
The cylinder block and cylinder head are rigid cast iron, built to take high continuous loads, and the D11 platform is tuned for strong torque at low and mid RPM for acceleration under load and steady cruising in rough water. The electronically controlled high-pressure unit injectors monitor engine parameters to manage combustion.
For helm integration the engine works with Electronic Vessel Control (EVC), and the Marine Commercial Control System (MCCS) is available for commercial vessels. Service points are laid out for easy access during routine maintenance.
