Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-320A DP-I Diesel Sterndrive Package

The Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-320A DP-I is a fully integrated sterndrive package that teams a 3.7-liter, four-cylinder in-line common-rail diesel with the DuoProp DPI drive. The turbocharged engine has double overhead camshafts, and the system is run through Volvo Penta EVC with an e-Key remote fitted as standard.

Engine, drive and controls are developed together as a complete system from cockpit to propeller. Injection is common-rail and electronically controlled, shift and throttle are electronic, and steering is hydraulic. The DuoProp leg drives twin propellers with a quiet gear shift, and the clutch can be slipped to maneuver at low speed. Service points are placed for straightforward access.

Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) combines the engine, its electronics and optional features such as a single-lever mode and Glass Cockpit. The e-Key remote is included in the standard equipment.
