Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-230A DP-I Diesel Sterndrive Package

The Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-230A DP-I is a fully integrated sterndrive package built around a 3.7-liter, four-cylinder in-line common-rail diesel and the DuoProp DPI drive. The engine is turbocharged with double overhead camshafts, and Volvo Penta EVC controls the package, with an e-Key remote supplied as standard.

Engine and driveline are engineered as a single system from cockpit to propeller. The common-rail fuel injection is electronically controlled, shift and throttle are electronic, and steering is hydraulic. The DuoProp drive turns twin propellers, the gear shift runs quietly, and the clutch can be slipped for slow-speed maneuvering. Service points are easy to reach.

Volvo Penta Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) brings together the engine, its electronics and optional features such as a single-lever mode and Glass Cockpit. The e-Key remote comes as standard equipment.
