Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-150A DP-I Diesel Sterndrive Package

The Volvo Penta Aquamatic D4-150A DP-I is an integrated sterndrive package pairing a 3.7-liter, four-cylinder in-line common-rail diesel with the DuoProp DPI drive. The turbocharged engine has double overhead camshafts, and the package is controlled through Volvo Penta EVC with an e-Key remote included as standard.

The package is designed as one system from the helm to the propellers. Fuel injection is common-rail and electronically controlled, shift and throttle are electronic, and steering is hydraulic. The DuoProp drive uses twin rotating propellers, the gear shift is quiet, and the clutch can be slipped for maneuvering at low speed. Service points are placed for easy access.

Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) links the engine and its electronics with a range of optional features, among them a single-lever mode and Glass Cockpit. The e-Key remote is part of the standard equipment.
