Vetus VH4.65 Marine Diesel Engine, Keel Cooled Model, 65 HP
This is the keel-cooled model of the Vetus VH4.65, an H-Line four-cylinder, four-stroke marine diesel rated 48 kW (65.3 hp) at the flywheel and 46.6 kW (63.4 hp) at the propeller shaft. It displaces 2607 cm³, uses indirect fuel injection and has a TM345(A) gearbox as standard.
Counterbalancing shafts keep noise and vibration levels down, molded rubber cooling components cut the number of hose connections, and the exhaust bend is seawater-injected. The fuel system is self-bleeding and a 12 V, 115 A marine alternator is standard. Vetus lists the H-Line for cabin boats, sailing boats, small fishing boats and larger canal boats.
The engine can be ordered with a gearbox or a saildrive, or with an adapter kit for an existing Volvo Penta 110S, 120S or 120SB saildrive, and a powerpack version with hydraulic pump is available for auxiliary equipment. The ZF25A and ZF25 are the optional gearboxes, a calorifier connection kit is optional, and certification is EU-RCD II.
