Vetus VD6210 Deutz Common-Rail Marine Diesel Engine, 210 HP
The Vetus VD6210 is a D-Line common-rail marine diesel on a Deutz engine block, rated 155 kW (210 hp) at the flywheel and 149 kW (203 hp) at the propeller shaft. Its 6060 cm³ six-cylinder in-line layout runs to 2400 RPM and suits heavy displacement boats.
The slow-running engine develops 810 Nm of torque at 1600 RPM and is intercooled as standard. A CAN bus with SAE J1939 protocol handles engine data and can also work with NMEA 2000 systems on board. The water-cooled top cover reduces engine-room heat and engine noise, the exhaust manifold is insulated, electric sump pumps are fitted as standard, and a 160 A high-output alternator is supplied with a second alternator optional.
A ZF63 gearbox with 1.51, 1.93, 2.48 and 2.78:1 ratios is standard, with the ZF63A and ZF63IV as options. The instruments are a key switch, tachometer with hour counter, voltmeter, oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge, and the acoustic alarm watches oil pressure, temperature, charging current and fresh and raw water. A calorifier kit, PTO for a hydraulic pump, fly-bridge instrument panel and trolling valve can be ordered and installed with a complete package.
