Vetus M4.56 Marine Diesel Engine, 52 HP

$9,923.00Price
Quantity

The Vetus M4.56 is a four-cylinder M-line marine diesel engine rated 38.3 kW (52 hp) at the flywheel and 37.1 kW (51 hp) at the propeller shaft. It displaces 1758 cm³, turns up to 3000 RPM and is supplied with a TM345(A) gearbox as standard.

Like every M4 engine it has a front-mounted impeller, and the fuses and relays, fuel filter and connections, dipstick and oil filter are placed for easy servicing. A cast aluminum top cover with a water-cooled element absorbs radiant heat, and a plastic front cover encloses the pulleys and belts in line with the EC Machinery Directive.

A 12 V, 110 A marine alternator is standard, and a second alternator is optional. The electric fuel pump is switched by the ignition and the fuel system bleeds itself after a filter change. Optional gearboxes are the ZF12M, ZF15MIV and TMC60P, and front-mounted oil and fuel filters with bracket and a calorifier connection kit are also available.
