The Tohatsu MFS6DWS is a 6 HP single-cylinder four-stroke tiller outboard with a 15-inch short shaft and manual start. It runs from a 3.1-gallon external fuel tank, displaces 123 cc and weighs 56 lbs.

The cowls have front and rear carrying handles, and the motor can be stored in three positions without oil spillage. All Tohatsu 6 HP outboards come in white. Full-throttle range is 5,000 to 6,000 RPM. Standard features include a propeller, the 3.1-gallon external fuel tank with fuel line hose, a service tool kit and parts, a stop switch lanyard and the owner's manual.
