Thornycroft TRGT-40 39kVA Three Phase Marine Generator Set

The Thornycroft TRGT-40 is a new three phase marine generator set rated 39 kVA continuous and 42 kVA intermittent at 1500 RPM and 50 Hz. It is powered by a four-cylinder 2.45L diesel engine with heat exchanger cooling and a wet exhaust.

The Deep Sea control panel comes with a 10 m extension harness, so it can be mounted away from the set, and the alternator is a MeccAlte unit. Starting is electric, the engine has its own emergency stop, and a self-protecting automatic shutdown is fitted. A 60 Hz configuration running at 1800 RPM is offered as an option.
