Suzuki DF9.9BS 9.9 HP EFI Outboard Motor, 15" Shaft, Manual Start

The Suzuki DF9.9BS is a 9.9 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke tiller outboard with manual start and a 15-inch short shaft. It weighs 97 lbs and is suited to medium and larger jon boats, skiffs and inflatables.

A decompression release eases pull starting, and a 12V 80W 6A alternator is fitted. The saltwater-rated 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead turns 5,000 to 6,000 RPM at full throttle and drives a 3-blade aluminum propeller of 9.25 x 10.0 inches through a 2.08:1 gear ratio.

Tiller controls include a twist-grip throttle with tension control, steering friction control and a forward-mounted shift lever. Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout, an emergency lanyard stop switch, shallow water drive and five trim positions with a tilt lock pin are standard. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
