Suzuki DF9.9BEL 9.9 HP EFI Outboard Motor, 20" Shaft, Electric Start

The Suzuki DF9.9BEL is a 9.9 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke tiller outboard with a 20-inch long shaft and push-button electric start. It is suited to medium and larger jon boats, skiffs and inflatables, and weighs 106 lbs.

A built-in 12V 145W 12A charging system supports the electric starter, and the thru-cowl manual pull cord is kept as a backup. The saltwater-rated 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead turns 5,000 to 6,000 RPM at full throttle. Tiller controls include a twist-grip throttle with tension control, steering friction control and a forward-mounted shift lever.

Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout and an emergency lanyard stop switch are standard. Manual tilt gives five trim positions with a tilt lock pin, plus shallow water drive. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, 3-blade aluminum propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
