The Suzuki DF20ATL is a 20 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke outboard set up for remote steering and throttle, with a 20-inch long shaft, electric start and power tilt. A side-mount control box with harness is included; throttle, shift and steering cables are not.

The 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead is saltwater rated, runs on 87-octane unleaded and turns 5,300 to 6,300 RPM at full throttle. Electric starting has a thru-cowling manual backup and a 12V 145W 10A alternator. Shifting through forward, neutral and reverse is done from the side-mount control box, and a steering link arm and transom bracket mounting hardware are fitted.

Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout, an emergency lanyard stop switch and multi-layer corrosion protection are standard, with shallow water drive and five trim positions with a tilt lock pin. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, 3-blade aluminum propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
