Suzuki DF15AS2 15 HP EFI Outboard Motor, 15" Shaft, Manual Start

The Suzuki DF15AS2 is a 15 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke tiller outboard with manual start and a 15-inch short shaft. It weighs 97 lbs and is suited to medium and larger jon boats, skiffs and inflatables.

A decompression release eases pull starting, and a 12V 80W 6A alternator is fitted. The saltwater-rated 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead turns 5,000 to 6,000 RPM at full throttle. The tiller carries a twist-grip throttle with tension control and steering friction control, and a forward-mounted lever selects forward, neutral and reverse.

Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout and an emergency lanyard stop switch are standard, with shallow water drive, five trim positions on a tilt lock pin and an integrated carrying handle. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, 3-blade aluminum propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
