Suzuki DF15AES2 15 HP EFI Outboard Motor, 15" Shaft, Electric Start

The Suzuki DF15AES2 is a 15 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke tiller outboard with a 15-inch short shaft and push-button electric start. It is suited to medium and larger jon boats, skiffs and inflatables, and weighs 106 lbs.

Electric starting is paired with a built-in 12V 145W 12A charging system, and the thru-cowl manual pull cord stays as a backup. The saltwater-rated 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead turns 5,000 to 6,000 RPM at full throttle. A twist-grip throttle with tension control, steering friction control and a forward-mounted shift lever sit at the tiller.

Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout and an emergency lanyard stop switch are standard, with shallow water drive and five trim positions on a tilt lock pin. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, 3-blade aluminum propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
