Suzuki DF15AEL 15 HP EFI Outboard Motor, 20" Shaft, Electric Start

The Suzuki DF15AEL is a 15 HP electronic fuel injected four-stroke tiller outboard with a 20-inch long shaft and push-button electric start. It is intended for larger jon boats and skiffs and for sailboat auxiliary or kicker use.

A built-in 12V 145W 12A charging system works with the electric starter, and the thru-cowl manual pull cord is retained as a backup. The 327 cc two-cylinder SOHC powerhead is saltwater rated and turns 5,000 to 6,000 RPM at full throttle. Tiller controls include a twist-grip throttle with tension control, steering friction control and a forward-mounted shift lever.

Low oil pressure and overheat warnings, an over-rev limiter, start-in-gear lockout and an emergency lanyard stop switch are standard. Manual tilt gives five trim positions with a tilt lock pin, plus shallow water drive. A 3.1-gallon fuel tank, fuel line, 3-blade aluminum propeller, owner's manual and tool kit are included.
