Suzuki 25 HP DF25AS Outboard Motor, 15" Short Shaft, Manual Start

The Suzuki DF25AS is a 25 HP three-cylinder tiller outboard with manual start, battery-less electronic fuel injection and a 15-inch short shaft. Trim and tilt are manual, and the SOHC engine has four valves per cylinder.

The full-throttle range is 5,000-6,000 RPM. Features include Lean Burn Control, Easy Start with recoil starter, digital CDI ignition, an over-rev limiter, a low oil pressure caution, fresh water flushing, a shallow water drive and the Suzuki Anti-Corrosion System. Shifting is by a front-mounted forward-neutral-reverse lever.

It is water-cooled and saltwater rated, burns 87-octane unleaded gasoline and lubricates through a wet sump with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil. There is no internal battery. The gear ratio is 2.09:1 and the propeller is 3 x 10.25 x 11. The box holds an owner's manual, aluminum propeller and tool kit.
