Suzuki DF25AS4 25 HP Outboard Motor, 15" Short Shaft, Manual Start

The Suzuki DF25AS4 is a 25 HP three-cylinder tiller outboard with manual start, manual trim and tilt and a 15-inch short shaft. Its SOHC engine has four valves per cylinder and is fed by battery-less electronic fuel injection with Lean Burn Control.

The full-throttle range is 5,000-6,000 RPM. Features include Easy Start with recoil starter, digital CDI ignition, an over-rev limiter, a low oil pressure caution, fresh water flushing, a shallow water drive and the Suzuki Anti-Corrosion System. A front-mounted lever selects forward, neutral and reverse.

The motor is water-cooled and saltwater rated, runs on 87-octane unleaded gasoline and uses wet-sump lubrication with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil. It has no internal battery; a 12V 145W 12A alternator is optional. The gear ratio is 2.09:1, the propeller is 3 x 10.25 x 10 and the weight is 136.0 lb.
