Shire 50 Workboat Marine Diesel Engine, 50 HP, PRM150 Hydraulic Gearbox
The Shire 50 is a four-cylinder workboat propulsion diesel using a Yanmar 4TNV base engine, rated 50 hp at 3000 RPM with 2190 cc displacement. It drives through a PRM150 hydraulic gearbox, is fully dyno tested and comes with a control panel with warning lights.
The engine carries a 50 amp 12-volt alternator and has a 250-hour oil and filter change period. Supplied accessories include a remote coolant header tank, two 1 m flexible fuel lines, a diesel fuel filter/water separator, an electric fuel lift pump, engine oil, coolant/antifreeze and a stainless steel water-injection exhaust elbow.
