Shire 40 Workboat Marine Diesel Engine, 40 HP, PRM150 Hydraulic Gearbox
The Shire 40 is a four-cylinder workboat propulsion engine built on a Yanmar 4TNV base, rated 40 hp at 2600 RPM from 2190 cc. It is paired with a PRM150 hydraulic gearbox, fully dyno tested, and supplied with a control panel fitted with warning lights.
A 50 amp 12-volt alternator is fitted, and the oil and filter change period is 250 hours. The included accessories are a remote coolant header tank, two 1 m flexible fuel lines, a diesel fuel filter/water separator, an electric fuel lift pump, engine oil, coolant/antifreeze and a stainless steel water-injection exhaust elbow.
