The Miller Multimatic 220 AC/DC (907757) is a single-phase multiprocess welder that handles MIG, flux-cored, DC stick and AC/DC TIG. It weighs 56 pounds and runs on 120-volt or 240-volt power through its multi-voltage plug.

QuickTech sets polarity automatically and switches process when the gun trigger or foot control is pressed, so the MIG gun and TIG torch can stay connected together, with the work lead always in the bottom right receptacle. The machine recalls the settings of the last process used. Auto-Set Elite gives predefined settings for MIG, stick, AC TIG and DC TIG that can be fine-tuned, while Pro-Set marks recommended values for AC balance (75%), AC frequency (120 Hz), DC TIG pulse (100 Hz) and stick DIG (30% for 7018 electrodes).

The angled wire drive uses a Quick Select drive roll with three grooves: two for solid wire sizes and one for flux-cored wire. Separate MIG and TIG gas connections let both gases stay hooked up. Setup is shown on a 3.5-inch color LCD, and a standard 14-pin connector accepts optional controls. MIG capacity is 24 ga. to 3/8 in. steel and 18 ga. to 3/8 in. aluminum; DC stick covers 16 ga. to 3/8 in. steel; AC/DC TIG covers 24 ga. to 1/4 in. steel and aluminum. It comes equipped with the accessories for each of its processes.
