Miller Maxstar 400 DC TIG Welder (951692)
The Miller Maxstar 400 is a DC TIG and stick power source with a 400 A maximum output, able to weld material up to 5/8 inch thick. It is rated 60% duty cycle at 300 A for both stick and TIG and accepts 208-575 V input through Auto-Line.
Blue Lightning high frequency gives non-contact TIG arc starts, and high-speed DC TIG pulsing reaches 5000 pulses per second with adjustable peak amperage, peak time and background amperage. A 120 V auxiliary receptacle powers a cooling system or small tools, nine independent program memories store settings, and meter calibration supports certification. For stick welding, DIG arc control suits electrodes from 7018 to 6010 and Hot Start aids arc starts. The cart has a single cylinder rack, a foot pedal holder, three cable and torch holders and two TIG electrode filler holders.
