Miller Maxstar 161 STH TIG and Stick Welder (907711)
The Miller Maxstar 161 STH (907711) is a DC TIG and stick welder with a digital interface, a pulse feature and auto-line 120 V and 240 V power cords. It delivers up to 160 amps and weighs 13 lbs; this package does not include a TIG torch.
Setup is three steps: press the menu button to choose the process, hold it for one second to reach the user menu, and turn the encoder to adjust the parameter. The machine is DC only and will not TIG weld aluminum. Rated material thickness is .020 to 3/16 steel with electrodes up to 5/32 inch.
Included are the power source, 6.5 ft 120V and 240V power cords, a 13 ft stick electrode holder with 25 mm Dinse connector, a 10 ft work clamp, an air-cooled TIG torch connector (195234), and a shoulder strap and handle. The TIG torch itself is not included.
