Miller Maxstar 161 S Stick Welder (907709)
The Miller Maxstar 161 S (907709) is a DC stick welder with a digital interface and auto-line 120 V and 240 V power cords. It delivers 20-160A on 240 V, weighs 13 lbs and is not TIG capable.
Setup is done in three steps: press the menu button to pick the process, hold it for one second for the user menu, then turn the encoder to adjust the chosen parameter. Rated material thickness is .020 to 3/16 steel with 5/32-inch electrodes. Included are the power source, 6.5 ft 120V and 240V power cords, a 13 ft stick electrode holder with 25 mm Dinse connector, a 10 ft work clamp with 25 mm Dinse connector, and a shoulder strap and handle.
