Miller Diversion 180 AC/DC TIG Welder Complete (907627)
The Miller Diversion 180 (907627) is an AC/DC inverter TIG welder rated up to 180 amps that runs on 115 V or 230 V input through Multi Voltage Plugs. It weighs 50 lbs and uses HF non-contact arc starting. The complete package adds a foot control, regulator and Weldcraft WP17 torch.
Setup follows three steps: power up, select the material type and set the material thickness range, with a digital display showing the settings. The MVP plugs fit common 115 or 230 V receptacles without tools. Duty cycle is 35% at 125A, 20% at 150A and 10% at 180A, and the machine is listed for aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.
Included are the Diversion 180 power source, an 8 ft (2.4 m) primary cord with two MVP plugs (219261 and 219258), an RFCS-RJ45 remote foot control (300432), a 12 ft (3.7 m) work lead with clamp, a Smith argon regulator/flow gauge with hose, and a 12.5 ft (3.8 m) Weldcraft WP17 TIG torch with back cap, ceramic gas cup, 3/32 in (2.4 mm) collet and collet body, and 2% ceriated tungsten.
