Miller Bobcat 260 LP Kohler Welder/Generator w/GFCI (907794)

The Miller Bobcat 260 LP (907794) is a liquid propane, Kohler-powered welder/generator with GFCI receptacles, suited to stick and flux-cored welding. It delivers 250 amps at a 100% duty cycle and 9,500 watts of continuous generator power; this model has no remote start/stop.

Output covers AC/DC stick from 40 to 250 A, DC TIG from 40 to 250 A and MIG from 17 to 28 V, plus air carbon arc cutting and gouging, and the generator peaks at 11,000 watts. The air-cooled twin-cylinder Kohler engine faces toward the front for more efficient airflow and a lower sound level, and the reversed generator airflow keeps hot air from recirculating in tight mounting spots.

Oil is checked from the top by the front panel, the panels are toolless, and fuel fill and oil drain/filter share one side. A ten-degree skewed-rotor generator design smooths the power, and the build uses copper windings, iron generator components and lugged heavy internal leads. The unit measures 28 in high (33 in with exhaust), 20 in wide and 40.5 in deep, and weighs 501 lbs.
