Miller Bobcat 260 Kohler Welder/Generator, GFCI and Remote Start/Stop (907792)
The Miller Bobcat 260 (907792) is a Kohler-powered welder/generator with GFCI receptacles and remote start/stop, suited to stick and flux-cored welding. It is built for maintenance/repair, construction, farm, ranch and generator use, with AC/DC output up to 275 amps.
With the engine turned toward the front, airflow is more efficient, the sound level drops and the reversed generator airflow keeps hot air from recirculating in tight mounting spots. The oil is checked from the top by the front panel, the panels are toolless, and fuel fill and oil drain/filter are on one side. A ten-degree skewed-rotor generator design smooths the power.
The machine uses copper windings and iron generator components, lugged heavy internal leads, protective armor doors over the weld studs and receptacles, and a lift hook in the center frame bolted to the base. Built in Appleton, Wisconsin, it covers flux-cored, MIG, stick and TIG, is rated 250 A at 25 V at a 60% duty cycle for CC/AC stick and TIG, and weighs 501 lbs.
