The Miller Bobcat 225 (907791001) is a Kohler-powered multi-process welder/generator with remote start/stop, used mainly for stick welding. It is rated 225 amps at a 100% duty cycle with AC/DC output, and its generator serves farm, ranch and maintenance/repair work.

Turning the engine toward the front improves airflow, lowers the sound level and reverses the generator airflow, so hot air is not drawn back in when the machine sits in a tight mounting spot. Service is simple: the oil is checked from the top by the front panel, panels open without tools, and the fuel fill and oil drain/filter share one side. The generator uses a ten-degree skewed-rotor design for smoother power.

Copper windings and iron generator components, lugged heavy internal leads, protective armor doors over the weld studs and receptacles, and a lift hook integrated into the center frame and bolted to the base make up the construction. Built in Appleton, Wisconsin, the machine runs flux-cored, MIG, stick and TIG on mild and stainless steel and weighs 485 lbs.
