Mercury Verado 400 HP XXL Four-Stroke Outboard Motor, 30" Shaft, DTS

The Mercury Verado 400 HP XXL is an inline-six four-stroke outboard with a 30-inch extra-extra-long shaft, 2.6 L displacement and EFI. SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) and electro-hydraulic power steering are standard; it weighs 668 lbs and is supplied without a propeller.

The dual overhead cam engine has 24 valves, a 6,200–6,800 RPM full-throttle range and electric start with SmartStart protection. Power trim and tilt carries SmartCraft programmable tilt. Vibration is damped by the Advanced MidSection, which sets the engine mounts aft and outward, and noise is reduced by a multi-chamber intake, injector covers and cowl seals. Includes owner's manual, mounting hardware and tool kit; propeller not included.
