Mercury Verado 400 HP XL Four-Stroke Outboard Motor, 25" Shaft, DTS

The Mercury Verado 400 HP XL is a 2.6 L inline-six four-stroke outboard with a 25-inch extra-long shaft and EFI. It has SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) and electro-hydraulic power steering as standard, weighs 668 lbs, and comes without a propeller.

A DOHC, 24-valve head and a 6,200–6,800 RPM full-throttle range define the engine, which starts electrically with SmartStart protection. Power trim and tilt includes SmartCraft programmable tilt. The Advanced MidSection moves the engine mounts aft and outward to reduce vibration, and a tuned multi-chamber intake, fuel-injector covers and cowl sealing cut engine noise. Owner's manual, mounting hardware and tool kit included; propeller not included.
