Mercury Verado 400 HP L Four-Stroke Outboard Motor, 20" Shaft, DTS

The Mercury Verado 400 HP L is an EFI inline-six four-stroke outboard with a 20-inch long shaft and 2.6 L displacement. SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) and electro-hydraulic power steering come standard; the motor weighs 668 lbs and does not include a propeller.

The engine uses dual overhead cams with 24 valves and has a 6,200–6,800 RPM full-throttle range. It starts electrically with SmartStart protection and has power trim and tilt with SmartCraft programmable tilt. Mercury's Advanced MidSection sets the engine mounts aft and outward to reduce vibration, and a multi-chamber intake, fuel-injector covers and cowl seals reduce noise. Supplied with the owner's manual, mounting hardware and tool kit; the propeller is sold separately.
