Mercury Verado 400 HP CL Four-Stroke Outboard Motor, 20" Shaft, DTS

The Mercury Verado 400 HP CL is an inline-six four-stroke outboard with a 20-inch long shaft, 2.6 L displacement and EFI. It comes standard with SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) and electro-hydraulic power steering, weighs 668 lbs, and does not include a propeller.

The dual overhead cam, 24-valve engine has a 6,200–6,800 RPM full-throttle range and electric start with SmartStart protection. Power trim and tilt includes SmartCraft programmable tilt. Mercury's Advanced MidSection places the engine mounts further aft and outboard to damp vibration, while a tuned multi-chamber air intake, fuel-injector covers and a sealed cowl reduce engine noise.

A counter-rotation version of this motor is also available. The motor comes with the owner's manual, mounting hardware and a tool kit; the propeller is not included.
