Mercury Verado 300 HP XXL V8 Outboard, DTS

A new Mercury Verado 300 HP XXL outboard, a V8 four-stroke with SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift and electro-hydraulic power steering. It displaces 4.6L, weighs 600 lbs and uses EFI with electric start and power trim and tilt.

In the Advanced MidSection (AMS) the engine mounts sit aft and outward to reduce vibration, while a tuned multi-chamber air intake, fuel-injector covers and a sealed cowl help lower engine noise. Adaptive Speed Control holds a set RPM as load or conditions change without throttle-lever movement.

Advanced Sound Control lets the dual muffler run in a quiet mode or a deeper exhaust tone. The full-throttle range is 5,200-6,000 RPM. An owner's manual, mounting hardware and a tool kit are included; the propeller is not.
