Mercury Verado 300 HP CXXL V8 Outboard, 30" Shaft, DTS

A new Mercury Verado 300 HP CXXL outboard: a V8 four-stroke with a 30-inch extra-extra-long shaft and SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift. It displaces 4.6L, weighs 600 lbs and uses EFI, with counter rotation listed as available.

Verado models pair DTS with electro-hydraulic, automotive-style power steering. Engine mounts sit further aft and outward in the Advanced MidSection (AMS) to reduce vibration, and noise is kept down by a tuned multi-chamber air intake, fuel-injector covers and a sealed cowl.

With Adaptive Speed Control the motor holds a set RPM as load or conditions change, without moving the throttle lever. Advanced Sound Control lets the dual muffler run in a quiet mode or a deeper tone. An owner's manual, mounting hardware and a tool kit are included; the propeller is not.
