Mercury Verado 300 HP CXL V8 Outboard, 25" Shaft, DTS

A new Mercury Verado 300 HP CXL outboard: a V8 four-stroke with a 25-inch extra-long shaft and SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift. It displaces 4.6L, weighs 600 lbs and uses EFI with electric start and power trim and tilt.

Verado outboards come with electro-hydraulic, automotive-style power steering alongside DTS. The Advanced MidSection (AMS) sets the engine mounts further aft and outward to cut vibration, and a tuned multi-chamber air intake, fuel-injector covers and a sealed cowl are used to reduce engine noise.

Adaptive Speed Control holds a set RPM as load or conditions change without moving the throttle lever, and Advanced Sound Control uses a dual muffler to switch between a very quiet mode and a deeper exhaust tone. An owner's manual, mounting hardware and a tool kit are included; the propeller is not.
