Mercury JET 65ELPT FourStroke Jet Outboard Motor, 65 HP

The Mercury JET 65ELPT is a 65 HP FourStroke jet outboard: a pump jet replaces the gearcase and sits level with the bottom of the hull, letting the boat run in shallow water where a propeller-driven outboard cannot operate.

Its stainless impeller is intended to stand up to abrasive debris such as sand and shells drawn through the pump, and Mercury also notes its use on rescue boats. The four-cylinder EFI powerhead has electric start, power trim and tilt and mechanical remote steering, and the motor weighs 378 lbs. The owner's manual, mounting hardware and a tool kit are included.
