Mercury JET 25ELHGA 25 HP FourStroke Jet Outboard, 15" Shaft, Electric Start

A 25 HP Mercury FourStroke jet outboard with electric start, tiller steering, gas-assist trim and electronic fuel injection. In place of a gearcase it uses a jet pump that sits level with the bottom of the boat, so it can run in shallow water where a propeller-driven outboard cannot.

The pump uses a stainless steel impeller that stands up to abrasive debris such as sand and shells drawn in with the water. The three-cylinder powerhead sits on a 15-inch short shaft, and the motor weighs 186 lb. It comes with an owner's manual, mounting hardware, a tool kit, a 6.6-gallon fuel tank and a quick-connect fuel line.
