Mercury 9.9 HP 9.9EXLPT ProKicker EFI Outboard Motor

The Mercury 9.9EXLPT is a 9.9 HP ProKicker outboard with electronic fuel injection, built as an auxiliary motor for holding trolling speed, resting the main engine or serving as backup power. Power tilt raises and lowers the motor without manual effort.

Mercury offers the ProKicker in both remote-control and tiller-handle versions. Tiller versions have a longer handle that can be set up for port or starboard operation, and they come standard with centering straps that straighten and lock the motor once it is tilted up. Mercury designed the motor for controlled throttle response in all weather and for torque that helps with acceleration and boat handling.
