Mercury 8 HP 8EH Four-Stroke Outboard, 15" Shaft, Electric Start

The Mercury 8EH is an 8 HP inline two-cylinder four-stroke outboard with electric start, tiller handle control and a 15-inch short shaft. It displaces 208 cc and runs 5,000–6,000 RPM at full throttle.

Mercury refined this motor with a simpler starting procedure, quicker warmup and smoother idle. It suits aluminum tiller boats, soft-hull inflatables, jon boats, utility boats and sailboats. Standard equipment includes an 8.5 x 7.5-inch three-blade aluminum propeller, an integrated carry handle, a safety lanyard stop switch, a 3.2-gallon remote fuel tank, a tool kit and the owner's manual, in Phantom Black.
