MerCruiser 4.5L 250 HP MPI Bravo DTS V6 Marine Engine
A MerCruiser 4.5L (275 cubic inch) V6 marine engine for Bravo drive systems, rated 250 HP at 4,800-5,200 RPM. It combines multi-port fuel injection with DTS digital throttle and shift and weighs 343 kg.
The engine has standard / left-hand rotation, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, forged steel crankshaft, hydraulic roller camshaft and aluminum cylinder heads. It is water-cooled with a thermostat, runs on 87 octane unleaded gasoline and measures 696 x 740 x 559 mm (L x W x H).
Included components are the engine mounts, heat exchanger, exhaust manifolds, NGK spark plugs and ignition system. Suggested upkeep is oil and filter changes every 100 hours or annually, and spark plug and fuel filter replacement every 300 hours.
