Miller Maxstar 210 STR DC Stick/TIG Welder (907682)
The Miller Maxstar 210 STR (907682) is a DC stick and TIG welder rated on 230 V single phase at 210A, 60% for DC TIG and 210A, 30% for DC stick. Auto-Line connects it to single or three phase power without relinking. It has no high frequency and does not weld aluminum; TIG arcs start by Lift-Arc.
Low OCV Stick drops open-circuit voltage to 9-14 VDC when the machine is not welding, with no add-on voltage reducer needed. Adaptive Hot Start raises amperage at the start of a weld when required to keep the electrode from sticking. Line Voltage Compensation holds output constant through input swings of plus or minus 10%, Fan-On-Demand runs the fan only when needed, and Wind Tunnel Technology uses internal airflow to protect the electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust and debris.
The front panel has digital meters, dual TIG and dual stick schedules, Pro-Set preset parameters, a memory card port for software updates and a programmable standby/sleep timer. The unit measures 24 in L x 13 in W x 17 in H and comes with an 8 ft power cord (no plug) and two 50-mm Dinse connectors.
